If you don’t have time to get to the gym (or if it’s still closed where you are), you can still fit in a quick workout! Each of these short workouts can be done in under 15 minutes and uses just one piece of equipment, so you can focus on getting it done and moving on with your day.
Quick Mini-Band Workout
All you need for this one is a mini band. Do it as a warmup for a more strenuous workout, or repeat the circuit a total of 3-4 times for a full-length workout. If you don’t have bands like the one I’m using here, you can buy a set online, or look in the sporting goods section of your local store.
Full Body Slider Workout
With just a set of sliders, you’ll work upper body, lower body, and core in this quick workout. If you don’t have sliders, you can improvise: use paper plates on carpet, or if you’re on a hard surface, wear socks or use a small towel. Do 8-12 reps of each exercise, then rest 1 minute and repeat 3 more rounds for a 15-minute workout.
This set of mini-bands includes a set of sliders, too!
Simple Dumbbell Workout
You can do this simple dumbbell circuit once as quick way to get your whole body working, or repeat a total of 3 – 4 rounds for a full 20-minute workout. All you need is a set of handheld weights; if you don’t have a set of dumbbells, get creative! Try using water bottles, canned goods, or whatever you’ve got handy.
