Injury Prevention for Runners ~ June 24th
Dr. Allison Jameson will be leading a workshop for runners. She’ll discuss the most common injuries and risk factors for runners, as well as what goes into a gait assessment, and walk us through several “go-to” exercises for running mechanics and injury avoidance. Allison herself is an avid runner, in addition to being a CrossFit Coach, and of course, a Physical Therapist.
Allison understands the extreme importance of building a resilient body for tackling all of life’s demands. Her goal as a physical therapist is to help others reach their personal best.

Kettlebell Basics – date to be announced
Some of the many benefits of training with kettlebells include: low impact exercise options, strength gains, cardiovascular conditioning, and strengthening your core without crunches. In this workshop, you’ll learn the basic skills to get started with kettlebells, plus progressions to keep you challenged. Learn the kettlebell deadlift, kettlebell swing, goblet squat, farmers/suitcase carry, bottoms up kettlebell variations, and more.
