MONDAY & THURSDAY at 9AM
Due to COVID-related restrictions, we’re enjoying class outdoors! Because of this, I’ve modified class somewhat from the traditional SilverSneakers Circuit format. It still includes upper-body strength work using resistance tubing and handheld weights, alternated with low impact cardio. The biggest difference is we are NOT using chairs while outdoors. This fun class will help improve your coordination, balance, muscle tone, and cardiovascular fitness. All equipment is provided, but you are welcome to bring your own weights and bands instead.
Class is designed for active seniors but open to adults of any age. Currently limited to 24 participants so we can maintain physical distancing; please call the Rec Center to reserve your spot: 910-278-5518.
Class is held in the basketball area behind the Rec Center. It is weather dependent so check my facebook page the morning of class if there’s any question whether or not we will be meeting.
$4 residents/$5 non-residents, or FREE if you have SilverSneakers coverage.
